Abstract:
The visual recognition device for a vehicle has a visual recognition assistance unit that assists the visual recognition of a vehicle occupant, a panel member in which an opening for projecting and retracting a nozzle is formed through a peripheral portion of the front side of the visual recognition assistance unit, a nozzle that displaces to permit projection and retraction from the opening and sprays a cleaning liquid from a spray port on the distal end portion side toward the visual recognition assistance unit when protruding from the opening, a lid that displaces to permit the opening to be opened and closed, and a mechanism that displaces in a direction different from the direction in which the nozzle displaces, to permit the lid to be opened and closed using the force that displaces the nozzle.
