Abstract:
Provided are a voting method and apparatus based on a blockchain. The method comprises a server receiving fragmented votes which are sent by a client and serve as obfuscation information; generating ciphertext votes of the fragmented votes; generating k types of zero knowledge proofs for the fragmented votes on the basis of the fragmented votes, k random numbers which comply with a voting mechanism, and k commitment proofs corresponding to the k random numbers; and sending a voting result to a blockchain. Since a complex ciphertext operation is performed in a server, the pressure on a client can be alleviated, and the efficiency of users performing anonymous voting can be improved. Moreover, fragmented votes received by the server are determined by means of the client performing obfuscation processing on voting information of the users, such that the privacy security of the voting information of the users can be ensured. In addition, whether the server tampers with the fragmented votes, which are sent by the client, during the process of processing the fragmented votes is verified by means of a blockchain, such that the tamper-proof performance and verifiability of the voting information of the users can be ensured.
