Abstract:
This warning apparatus is capable of prompting replacement of the driver of a vehicle without bothering occupants of the vehicle, and is provided with: a captured image acquisition unit that acquires a plurality of images capturing at least an occupant on the driver seat of a vehicle; a counting unit that a time elapsing after the engine of the vehicle has started; a determination unit that determines whether the occupant in the driver seat has been changed on the basis of the acquired captured images; and a notification unit that provides a notification when the determination unit determines that the occupant of the driver seat has not been changed and the counting result of the counting unit reaches a preset value.
