Abstract:
Disclosed is washing drum (1) and a washing machine, the washing drum (1) being a rotatable water-containing drum. A water conducting channel (3) for draining water from top to bottom is disposed on a peripheral wall of the washing drum (1). The water conducting channel (3) comprises at least one slanted channel section, and the slanted channel section is disposed such that a lateral wall thereof distal to a side of the washing drum gradually slopes, from top to bottom, in a direction towards the central axis of the washing drum. The washing machine comprises a housing. The washing drum (1) is rotatably disposed inside the housing, and the washing drum (1) has a water-containing structure. The water conducting channel (3) is disposed on a peripheral wall of the washing drum (1). An upper end of the water conducting channel (3) communicates with the inside of the washing drum (1), and a lower end thereof has a water outlet (31). The slanted design of the water conducting channel (3) on the exterior of the washing drum (1) saves space between the washing bucket (1) and the housing, so as to relatively increase the volume of the washing bucket (1); and accordingly, to achieve volume expansion of the washing drum (1). The slanted design also helps to reduce the force of an impact at the moment water is discharged from the water conducting channel (3), thereby reducing splashing of the water.
