Abstract:
A washing and drying machine (50) is provided with an outer drum (1), a rotating drum (4) disposed so as to be rotatable within the outer drum (1), and a drive unit (10) which performs rotary driving of the rotating drum (4). In addition, the washing and drying machine is provided with an inlet (17) which supplies air to the outer drum (1), an introduction port (15) which is provided on the posterior surface of the rotating drum (4) so as to draw the air supplied from the inlet (17) to the rotating drum (4), a sealing member (22) provided substantially concentrically on the outer peripheral portion of the introduction port (15), and a control unit (11) which controls the drive unit (10). The sealing member (22) has a lip portion which extends obliquely so as to extend from the rotating drum (4) side to the outer drum (1) side. When the rotating drum (4) rotates at a low speed, the distal end of the lip portion comes into contact with the outer drum (1), and when the rotating drum (4) rotates at a high speed, the distal end of the lip portion is separated from the outer drum (1).
