Provided is a washing and drying machine capable of preventing clogging in an air duct filter by discharging lint clumps generated in an air duct leading from the back side of the air duct filter to a blower. This washing and drying machine is characterized by comprising: a drum 11 that accommodates laundry and rotates during each step of washing, rinsing, and draining; an outer tub 10 that surrounds the drum 11 and stores water; a drainage channel 70 that drains the water in the outer tub 10; blowers (32, 33) that supply air to the drum 11 and the outer tub 10; an air duct 39 connecting the outer tub 10 and the blowers; an air duct filter 36 that is provided between the outer tub 10 and the air duct 39 and that collects lint heading toward a suction port of the air duct 39; and a lint discharge channel 9 connected at one end to the air duct 39 and connected at the other end to the drainage channel 70, the air duct 39 having a recess 39a that is recessed toward the drum 11, one end 9a of the lint discharge channel 9 being connected to the recess 39a, and the rearmost surface of the lint discharge channel 9 being housed farther inward than the rearmost surface of the air duct 39 as seen in a side cross-section of the drum 11 and the lint discharge channel 9.
