Abstract:
Disclosed are a washing machine and a control method therefor. The washing machine comprises an inner barrel (17) which independently contains washing water when laundry is washed; an electromagnetic heating device (33) which heats the water in the inner barrel (17); and a temperature detection device (34) which detects the water temperature in the inner barrel (17); or detects the temperature of the inner barrel (17); or detects the temperature at a certain distance outside the inner barrel (17). A control unit of the washing machine judges the current water temperature in the inner barrel (17) according to a result fed back by the temperature detection device (34) so as to control turning on and off of the electromagnetic heating device (33). The control of the water temperature of the hole-free inner barrel washing machine is achieved by combining the electromagnetic heating device with the temperature detection device, and the scenario in which the normal operation of the washing machine is influenced by the water temperature being heated too low or too high is effectively avoided.
