Abstract:
The present invention belongs to the field of washing machines, and specifically relates to a washing machine and a control method. The washing machine comprises: an outer barrel; a particle storage device, having a storage cavity in communication with the outer barrel, with cleaning particles being accommodated in the storage cavity; and a power device, being in communication with the outer barrel/the storage cavity and driving a medium to carry the cleaning particles to enter the outer barrel for self-cleaning. The beneficial effects of the present invention lie in that the particle storage device and the power device are provided, the power device drives the medium to carry the cleaning particles in the particle storage device to enter the outer barrel, and the cleaning particles collide with and rub against dirt and mold on the outer barrel, thereby realizing the self-cleaning.
