Abstract:
A washing machine capable of hand washing laundry effectively in the washing/dehydrating drum thereof by the user. The automatic washing machine includes: a washing/dehydrating drum (22) washing and dehydrating the laundry; a water supply unit supplying water into the washing/dehydrating drum (22); a controller controlling the water supply unit; a washing auxiliary board (100) mounted in the washing/dehydrating drum (22) detachably and with concavo-convex shape on the upper surface; and a hand washing water button operated when hand washing the laundry with the washing auxiliary board (100) mounted in the washing/dehydrating drum (22). Herein, the controller supplies water to the water supply unit based on the condition that the hand washing water button is operated.
