Provided is a washing machine which is able to effectively send air bubbles for washing a washing item in a washing groove to the washing groove. The washing machine (1) contains: an outer groove (3) which can store water and a washing groove (4) which is accommodated in the outer groove (3) and can rotate. A bottom wall (3C) of the outer groove (3) is formed with an introduction opening (9) for introduction of air. A bottom wall (4C) of the washing groove (4) and the bottom wall (3C) are oppositely provided from above (X1), a lower surface part (4G) of the bottom wall (4C) is formed with a groove (15). The groove (15) is formed as an annular shape with a radius (D) being the distance from a rotating centre (a central shaft (8)) of the washing groove (4) to an introduction opening (9) and with the central shaft (8) as a circle centre, and is provided opposite the introduction opening (9) from above (X1). An inner side of the groove (15) is formed with an air through-hole through the bottom wall (4C). The air through-hole sends the air bubbles received by the groove (15) from the introduction opening (9) into the washing groove (4).
