Abstract:
Disclosed is a washing machine comprising a washing tub which can enhance a laundry washing effect and laundry dewatering efficiency. The disclosed washing machine comprises: a body; a cylindrical washing tub, which is rotatably arranged inside the body and receives laundry; a plurality of recessed parts, which are formed on an inner circumferential surface of the washing tub and are arranged along the circumferential direction of the washing tub to form a pattern; and a first dewatering hole formed through each of the recessed parts, wherein the each recessed part is formed along the lengthwise direction of the washing tub.
