Abstract:
Disclosed is a washing machine comprising a box body (1), and a washing drum (2) rotatably provided in the box body. The washing drum (2) serves as a water-containing drum for housing washing water, and a water drainage channel (5) is arranged on the inner side of a circumferential wall of the washing drum (2) to drain water from top to bottom. An upper end of the water drainage channel (5) is in communication with the interior of the washing drum (2), and the lower end is in communication with the exterior of the washing drum (2). The water drainage channel (5) comprises a water channel housing and at least part of the wall of the washing drum, the side of the water channel housing facing the wall of the washing drum is provided with a groove penetrating from top to bottom, and the water channel housing is fastened on the wall of the washing drum and encircles a water flow channel together with the wall of the washing drum. The washing machine has the water drainage channel (5) provided inside the washing drum (2), which will not directly collide with the box body when the washing machine removes water, such that the service life is longer and noise is reduced. On the other hand, the washing machine has no outer drum structure, which can increase the utilisation rate of washing water, the distance between the periphery of the upper part of the washing drum (2) and the box body (1) is smaller, but the volume of the ashing drum (2) can be arranged as greater, achieving the aim expanding the capacity of a washing machine.
