Abstract:
A washing machine according to the present invention comprises: a case; an outer tub contained inside the case so as to contain washing water; an inner tub installed inside the outer tub so as to contain laundry; a pulsator installed inside the inner tub so as to receive driving power and to rotate thereby; and a driving portion for providing driving power for rotating the inner tub and the pulsator. The driving portion comprises: a driving motor comprising a stator and a rotor; a bearing housing installed on the lower portion of the outer tub; a hollow dewatering shaft, the lower end of which is arranged adjacent to the rotor, and the upper end of which is connected to the inner tub; a coupler configured to move upward/downward along the outer peripheral surface of the lower end of the dewatering shaft and to selectively connect the dewatering shaft to the rotor; a washing shaft positioned inside the dewatering shaft, the lower end of the washing shaft being connected to the rotor, and the upper end thereof being connected to the pulsator, thereby rotating the pulsator; and an anti-friction member formed between the dewatering shaft and the washing shaft.
