Title:
WASHING-OUT DEVICE AND WASHING-OUT METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/158380
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are a washing-out device and a washing-out method that ensure prevention of development dust adhesion and development uniformity in combination with high development speed. The washing-out device performs development with a washing-out liquid while conveying a flexographic printing plate precursor after imagewise exposure. The washing-out device has a conveying unit that conveys the flexographic printing plate precursor along a predetermined conveying path, and a developing unit that develops the flexographic printing plate precursor. The developing unit has a brush used for developing and a drive unit that controls the rotation of the brush around a rotation axis thereof and the movement of the brush. The brush is for developing by removing the unexposed portion of the flexographic printing plate precursor, and the rotation axis of the brush is a fixed axis passing through one point in the brush. The drive unit rotates the brush in a state where the rotation axis of the brush passes through the surface of the flexographic printing plate precursor, and moves the rotation axis of the brush in at least one direction intersecting the rotation axis.
