Abstract:
A waste treatment apparatus for treating waste provided with: a treatment vessel; a steam-supplying member for supplying steam to the treatment vessel to raise the temperature inside the treatment vessel; and a pressure-reducing member for reducing the pressure inside the treatment vessel. Hydrolysis of the waste by steam and drying of the waste by reduction of the pressure inside the treatment vessel by the pressure-reducing member are conducted inside the treatment vessel.
