Abstract:
This waste water treatment system is provided with: a storage tank for storing, at a pressure higher than atmospheric pressure, waste water generated as a result of cleaning exhaust gas from a ship engine; a treatment tank disposed separately from the storage tank; and a circulation channel that has one end connected to the storage tank and the other end connected to the treatment tank and that circulates waste water from the storage tank to the treatment tank. The waste water that have passed through the circulation channel is foamed by being exposed to the atmosphere in the treatment tank, and impurities in the waste water are caused to rise to the surface of the water and are isolated.
