Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a watching system that can reduce necessary resources to be provided to a detection unit in order to transmit data regarding information about a detected subject from the detection unit to a server with security ensured, and that can reduce communication cost by reducing overhead associated with encrypted communication. [Solution] This watching system has: a detection unit 10 that detects information from a subject, and outputs detection data including the detected information; and a first server 50 that receives the outputted detection data via a secure first network, encrypts the received detection data, and transmits the encrypted detection data to a second server 60, which is another server, via a second network other than the first network.
