Title:
WATER-ADDED FUEL COMBUSTION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2001/073345
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A combustion device for preventing the production of harmful gases and being economically advantageous by burning a water-added fuel at high temperatures. A furnace body, having conically inclined portions formed at the left and right opposite ends of a circular tube and small-diameter flame-throwing tubes and fuel injection tubes each projectingly provided at the tip of each inclined portion, is divided into an upper half component and a lower half component, the inner-side surface of each component is covered with a heat-resisting material to a preset wall thickness, a communication control sheet is provided at the left-side portion in the circular tube, a heat-resisting metal tube having a diameter slightly larger than that of a flame-throwing tube and provided with many small vent holes made in the entire peripheral face thereof is fixed in the center of the control sheet, a small-diameter tapered cylinder is suspended from the center of the metal tube, and kerosene burners provided in the fuel injection tubes are used to heat the inside of the furnace body until an inside temperature reaches at least 600 C, whereby the fuel is then changed over to a water-added fuel for continued combustion.
