Abstract:
Water barrier comprising at least one movable retaining wall that can be moved between an inoperative position, in which a passage is left open between the water side and the land side, and a water-retaining position closing off the passage, wherein the retaining wall comprises a first retaining wall member and a second retaining wall member, wherein the first retaining wall member is a holder for the second retaining wall member, which holder is elongated in the horizontal plane, and having long sides and short sides, wherein one long side forms a water-retaining, wet side and the other long side forms the opposite, dry side, wherein the second retaining wall member can be moved vertically between a storage position or inoperative position accommodated in the first retaining wall member and a water-retaining position extending from the first retaining wall member, wherein the first retaining wall member can be rotated about a vertical axis of rotation between an inoperative position in which the passage is substantially left open and a water-retaining position in the passage.
