Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a water-soluble film which can be suitably used for production of a package that exhibits superior uniformity in sealing strength, and, moreover, can be suitably used for production of a package that exhibits superior uniformity in sealing strength during a high-speed sealing operation; and a package using such a film. [Solution] This water-soluble film contains a polyvinyl alcohol resin, wherein, in at least one surface of the film, the ratio RSm (LD/TD) of an average length RSm (LD) of roughness curve elements in the longitudinal direction to an average length RSm (TD) of the roughness curve elements in the transverse direction is 1.2-2.5.
