Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a water-soluble film which has excellent film solubility in water, and can achieve both of the excellent reduction of dissolution residues and the deformation resistance when being stored in a pouched form. [Solution] A water-soluble film comprising a polyvinyl alcohol-type resin, the water-soluble film having such a property that the crystal long period Ds which is determined from an X-ray profile obtained by a small angle X-ray scattering measurement in a water/methanol mixed solvent (volume ratio: 2/8) is 10.0 to 30.0 nm and the increase rate of crystal long period from the Ds to a crystal long period Da that is determined by the small angle X-ray scattering measurement before the immersion in the solvent, i.e., (Ds-Da)/Da, is 30 to 130% inclusive.
