Abstract:
A water sprinkling device (10) comprises: a trough (11) that has a shape that extends in a direction in which a large number of heat transfer pipes (2) are arrayed, that has a supply port formed in the base thereof through which water that serves as a heat source fluid is introduced, and that allows the supplied water to overflow from an upper edge thereof; impingement plates (27) that have openings formed therein that allow the water introduced into the inside of the trough (11) via the supply port to pass therethrough, and that change the direction of the water that has passed through the supply port so that the water flows in a longitudinal direction of the trough (11); a top plate (28) that is disposed above the impingement plates (27) and below a liquid surface, and that changes the direction of the water that has passed through the openings so that the water flows in the longitudinal direction of the trough (11); and a perforated member (29) that has a large number of holes (29a) that allow water flowing in the longitudinal direction of the trough (11) along the impingement plates (27) to pass therethrough.
