Abstract:
A watercraft diesel powertrain, comprising a diesel engine (20), a conformal heat exchanger (1), and a jet apparatus (12). A first inlet (7) and a first outlet (8) of the conformal heat exchanger (1) are connected respectively to the diesel engine (20) and are connected respectively to an upper plug (5) and a lower plug (6) of the conformal heat exchanger (1). A second inlet (9) and a second outlet (10) are used for the inflow and outflow of seawater. The jet apparatus (12) is provided at the second outlet (10) of the conformal heat exchanger (1), a first inlet (13) of the apparatus is used for drawing in seawater discharged from the second outlet (10) of the conformal heat exchanger (1), a second inlet of the apparatus is connected to a diesel engine exhaust pipe (21), and an outlet of the apparatus is used for discharging seawater and the exhaust discharged from the diesel engine exhaust pipe (21). The watercraft powertrain, with the jet apparatus (12) provided at the second outlet (10) of the conformal heat exchanger (1), alters the manner of heat exchange of the conformal heat exchanger (1) into forced convection heat exchange, thus increasing heat exchange efficiency.
