Title:
WAVEFORM EQUALIZATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/105430
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to obtain an output signal y by performing waveform equalization in which an input signal x having non-linearity is expanded in a second-order Volterra series. The m-th output signal y(m) is determined using the following equation. In the following equation: h is the total number of kernels to be considered, where 1≦h≦L2, L2 being the second-order memory length; x2,m is the vector notation of a k-th order input signal x(m) with respect to an m-th equalized output signal y(m); w1 is the vector notation of the weighting of a tap of a linear term of the equation; and w2,n is the vector notation of the weighting of a tap of a non-linear term of the equation with respect to the n-th kernel.
