Abstract:
This wavelength conversion device (1) is provided with: a light source (11) which emits light having a prescribed wavelength in a wavelength range from ultraviolet light to visible light; a phosphor layer (13) which converts the wavelength of the light incident on an incidence surface from the light source (11); and an optical member (12) which is disposed between the light source (11) and the phosphor layer (13), and which splits and separates the light emitted by the light source (11), and emits said light to the incidence surface of the phosphor layer (13).
