Abstract:
A web conference system according to the present disclosure comprises a server and a plurality of terminal devices connected to the server. The server comprises: a holding device that acquires, from the plurality of terminal devices, and holds equipment type information indicating the types of the audio output equipment currently used in the terminal devices; and a control device that, on the basis of the equipment type information of each of the terminal devices held by the holding device, determines whether to cause the audio output equipment currently used in the terminal device to output audio or controls the level of the sound outputted from the terminal device. The control device determines, as the destination of transmitting audio data, for example, a terminal device of which the currently used audio output equipment is of a headphone type.
