Abstract:
Provided is a technology for suitably evaluating the weight of an object placed in a container. A weight estimation method includes: a first acquisition step (S101) for acquiring first imaging data which is learning-use imaging data from a first type of imaging data which is imaging data of an object scooped into a container by an excavator; a learning step (S102) for referencing the first imaging data and the measured weight of the object to train an estimation model that outputs the weight of said object on the basis of the first type of imaging data; a second acquisition step (S103) for acquiring second imaging data which is estimation-use imaging data from the first type of imaging data; and an estimation step (S104) for estimating the weight of the object on the basis of the estimation model and the second imaging data.
