Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wheel cleaning apparatus enabling a wheelchair user who has difficulties involving the lower extremities to clean wheels of a wheelchair after being outdoors, without help from another person. One embodiment of the present invention provides a wheel cleaning apparatus for cleaning wheels of a wheelchair, the wheel cleaning apparatus comprising: a guide module which guides a wheelchair to enter a predetermined location; a cleaning module which receives power so as to clean wheels for driving and wheels for steering of the wheelchair simultaneously by means of a friction method; and a driving module which transfers power to the cleaning module by using friction between the driving module and the wheels for driving.
