Abstract:
A wheel-side motor for an electric vehicle, which relates to the technical field of electric vehicles. The wheel-side motor consists of a shaft (1), a hub (2), a stator core (3), an armature winding (4), permanent magnets (5), a brake disc (6), a brake caliper (8), and a bearing (7). Eight sector-shaped through holes are uniformly formed in the circumference of the brake disc (6) fixed to the shaft (1), and magnetic conducting ribs made of a magnetic material are disposed between two through holes. The stator core (3) consists of nine ∏-shaped sub-stator cores, and each sub-stator core surrounds the two sides of the brake disc (6) and is fixed to a vehicle frame, a difference between every two adjacent sub-stator cores is 30 degrees in the circumferential direction, and a yoke part in the middle of the sub-stator cores is wound with the centralized armature winding (4). A permanent magnet is fixed to a surface of the inner side of each sub-stator core facing to the brake disc (6), and the brake caliper (8) is fixed to the vehicle frame and is located at the position without the stator core (3) in the circumferential direction. In the wheel-side motor, the motor and the brake disc are is effectively integrated, less space is occupied and costs are reduced, and the motor has high application value on micro electric vehicles and toy cars.
