Abstract:
This wheel train mechanism of a clock is configured from an easily manufacturable gear which has teeth of an outline having an involute curve, and a pinion which meshes with said gear. In order to suppress transmitted torque fluctuations, the wheel train mechanism (1) of the clock is provided with a gear (10) which has teeth (11) of a tooth shape with an outline having an involute curve, and a pinion having teeth (21) which mesh with the teeth (11) of the gear (10) to transfer and receive torque. In at least part of the first half of the meshing period, during which the gear (10) and the pinion (20) mesh, the torque transmitted from the gear (10) to the pinion (20) is approximately constant.
