Abstract:
A wheelset for a variable gauge bogie for a rail vehicle, comprising wheels (1), an axle (2), and locking assemblies. The hub of each wheel extends towards the outside the wheel to form a connecting sleeve (11); an internal spline is provided on the inner circumference of the hub of the wheel and/or the inner circumference of the connecting sleeve; the two ends of the axle are respectively provided with external splines matching the internal splines; the wheels and axle are connected by means of the internal splines and the external splines; the locking assemblies are respectively press-fitted on the outer circumferences of the connecting sleeves of the wheels, and are located in axle boxes (3) at the two ends of the axle; the locking assemblies are configured to drive the wheels to move along the axial direction of the axle boxes or lock the wheels, thereby achieving gauge change of the wheels. Also disclosed are a variable gauge bogie for a rail vehicle, and a locking mechanism for the variable gauge wheelset. Such configurations can ensure to the greatest degree the original layout of parts and components of a bogie for a high-speed electric multiple unit, thereby improving the universality and reliability of a variable gauge bogie for a rail vehicle.
