A wide dynamic range ion monitoring system and apparatus. The wide dynamic range ion monitoring apparatus comprises a receiving anode plate (10), a gain component (20) and a first FC monitor (30). A middle portion of the receiving anode plate (10) is provided with a first through hole (11), through which some monitored ions pass. The gain component (20) is arranged corresponding to the first through hole (11), and the gain component (20) is used for performing gain processing on the monitored ions passing through the first through hole (11). The first FC monitor (30) is used for receiving gain electrons generated after gain processing by the gain component (20). When a wide dynamic range ion monitoring apparatus performs monitoring working, a small amount of monitored ions pass through a first through hole (11), are received by a gain component (20) and are subjected to gain processing, and a first FC monitor (30) receives gain electrons generated after gain processing by the gain component (20), and can obtain, by means of an ADC collection card (140), a second detection signal used for the detection of small signals. In this way, the accurate measurement of wide range dynamic ions can be realized, and the voltage usage range of a monitor can be reduced, thereby increasing the service life of the monitor.
