Title:
WIN WHEEL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/223783
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A sub-program (Win Wheel) adapted to a gaming device, game of skill, game of chance. When a win is awarded, the sub-program will override primary program taking the awarded win and implementing it into the sub-program. The sub-program will then display various winning possibilities through the graphical element. The Win Wheel will spin, and the user must press the Stop button before the Timer reaches "0". If the original awarded prize was 200 credits, and if the user was to stop the Win Wheel on 80%, the sub-program will then award 160 Credits. If the user stopped the wheel on 100%, the sub-program would award 200 credits. Once the awards have been displayed, the sub- program will close and primary application will continue. The sub-program replaces a Take Score or Collect feature for device, game of skill, game of chance electronic storage devices (input/output device). This only happens once per primary application awarded prize.

1. A method to redeem awarded points, credits, and/or prizes, on an electronic storage device(input/output device), or physical apparatus:

- after the primary winnings of points, credits, and/or prizes, an animated graphical element "Win Wheel" will engage to the electronic storage

device(input/output device), and/or physical apparatus until the user has applied the "Stop" button, or awarded "Time" has expired, and will stay frozen briefly for user to observe outcome.

- based on position of frozen graphical element will determine earned credits, points, and/or prizes, before and/or after "Timer" expired.

- electronic storage device(input/output device) will compute actual awarded credits, points, and/or prizes to the primary electronic storage device and/or physical apparatus.

- awarded points, credits, and/or prizes are awarded to the user of the electronic storage device(input/output device) and/or physical apparatus and added to users stored credits, points and/or prizes, or stored in a isolated storage separated from users primary points, credits, and/or prizes to be redeemed at an later time by the electronic storage device(input/output device), and/or physical apparatus.

Description:
WIN WHEEL

Description

Reason For The Invention

An inventive concept that is directed or implemented to a method, apparatus, computing storage device(input/output device), directed to amusement games, skill games, and gaming devices(slots, keno, poker, horse racing, table games, etc.) to award prize, potential prizes, and/or bonus prizes.

Summary Of The Invention

A device or method consisting of a "Wheel" containing variable percentages, winnings, or prizes; "Stop" button; visible "Timer"; visible "Current Percentage"; visible "Potential Win"(credits, points, prizes); where the user must skillfully stop the Wheel within awarded time or Potential Winnings will be lost.

Once the device is adapted to an application, this device will determine the amount of winnings a user will ultimately win. Example, when a user plays a game and is awarded points, credits, and/or prizes, the Win Wheel will appear on the application, or will be permanently visually applied to the application. Once the Win Wheel appears, the wheel will start spinning and the timer will start to count down. The user is obligated to press the "Stop" button on the screen or a physical push button. As the wheel is spinning, a indicator will indicate what percentage the wheel is currently at during the spin and an indicator to indicate the current potential win where the wheel is currently in its spin. If the user does not press the "Stop" button before the Timer reaches "0", the user will be awarded "0" of the potential winnings.

Description Of The Drawings

The Wheel will consist of variable percentages, example 55% to 110%. Each designated percentage assigned to the Wheel will have its own designated colour for visual reference to the user. The Wheel design will include variable pie shaped icons that the size will represent the assigned percentage. For example, a 55% pie shape icon will be greater in size compared to a 65% pie shape icon. A 75% pie shape icon will be greater in size compared to a 110% pie shape icon. The purpose for this is to have a skilled difficulty for a user to "Stop" the Wheel on a 55% pie shaped icon easier than on a 65%% pie shaped icon and so on. The Stop button will consist of being applied by the user touching the "Stop" button on the screen of the application, or by the user pressing a push button located on the application, to stop the wheel on a desired location within the awarded Time limit.

The Timer indicates the amount of time the user is awarded to activate the "Stop" button, to skillfully stop the wheel at the users desired location. Once the Timer has reached "0", the Wheel will stop, and the user will redeem NO points, credits, and/or prizes, and the primary application will resume.

The Current Percentage indicated where the Wheel is currently located during its spin time under the current Timer countdown.

Potential Win indicates what the users potential win could possibly be at current time where the Wheel is currently located under the current Timer countdown.
