Abstract:
A wind power generation device (10) has a nacelle (16) that is rotated in the yaw direction using a force operating on wind turbine blades and is provided with a yaw brake device (32) that applies braking to the rotation of the nacelle (16) in the yaw direction and a control device (36) that controls the yaw brake device (32) such that rotational velocity (θ') of the nacelle (16) is within a prescribed range. Therefore, the wind power generation device (10) can have a constant rotational velocity for the nacelle (16).
