Title:
WINDING MACHINE AND WINDING METHOD FOR PRODUCING A LOCALLY TAPED WINDING, AND ASSOCIATED ELECTRIC MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/063986
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
A winding device (2) allows a conductor bundle (3) to be wound to form a number of groups of coils (4) which are interconnected by means of transition sections (6) of the conductor bundle (3). Beforehand, the conductor bundle (3) is guided through an insulation head (7). An insulation tape (9) on a supply roll (10) is wound onto the conductor bundle (3) by rotating the insulation head (7) about a longitudinal axis (8) of the conductor bundle (3). An additional device (11) can be displaced relative to the insulation head (7) in the direction of the longitudinal axis (8) of the conductor bundle (3) by having said additional device cooperate with a device guide (15). The additional device (11) comprises a holding device (13) for retaining the insulation tape (9) as well as a cutting device (14) for cutting the insulation tape (9). When viewed along the insulation tape (9), the holding device (13) is arranged between the supply roll (10) and the cutting device (14). A control device (17) controls the winding device (2), the insulation head (7) and the additional device (11) in such a way that the conductor bundle (3) is guided through the insulation head (7) and the additional device (11), and the insulation tape (9) is wound in a fully automatic manner onto the conductor bundle (3) in the respective transition section (6).
