Abstract:
When a wiper switch has turned off, a wiper control circuit performs a control for stopping a wiper blade at a storage position which is a stop reference position, on the basis of the position of the wiper blade as calculated from the rotational angle of a wiper motor output shaft detected by a rotational-angle sensor. When the wiper blade has stopped at a position different from the stop reference position, the wiper control circuit sets the position where the wiper blade has stopped as the new stop reference position, and when the wiper switch is then turned on, the wiper control circuit performs a control for actuating the wiper blade from the new stop reference position.
