Abstract:
A first driven lever of a wiper device for a vehicle has a base end connected to the front end of a first drive lever so as to be capable of pivoting. A second driven lever has: a base end connected to the front end of the first driven lever so as to be capable of pivoting; and a front end connected to the front end of a second drive lever so as to be capable of pivoting. A first wiper arm has a front end which operates with the second driven lever and to which a first wiper blade is connected. A transmission mechanism for rocking transmits a drive force to the first drive lever. The transmission mechanism for rocking includes a crank arm for rocking, which is rotatable with the rotating shaft of a single drive source. A transmission mechanism for extension and retraction transmits a drive force to the second drive lever. The transmission mechanism for extension and retraction includes a crank arm for extension and retraction, which is rotatable with the rotating shaft of the drive source.
