Abstract:
Wire core brush, preferably in the form of a cosmetic or mascara applicator, comprising brush-forming elements held between at least two wires twisted together, substantially forming bristles arranged at least along a helical line, between which bristles a helically shaped free space is formed, characterised in that the helically shaped free space is partially filled by a foil web which encloses the common circumferential surface of the wires twisted together.
