Abstract:
Provided is a wire cover capable of detachably covering an end section, an intersection section, and a coupling section, etc., of a single wire or a plurality of wires and capable of maintaining a stable covered state. The wire cover (100) comprises a lower cover (30) and an upper cover (10) that are mutually detachable via a screw mechanism. The lower cover (30) has: a male screw section (31) having a male thread groove (31n) on the outer circumference of a cylindrical peripheral wall (31w); and a lower main body section (32) formed in a bottomed cylindrical shape on a base end (31b) of the peripheral wall (31w) and having a wider diameter than the outer diameter (31d) of the male screw section (31). The upper cover (10) has: a female screw section (11) that can screw to the male screw section (31); and an upper main body section (12) formed in a bottomed cylindrical shape having a radius that increases from the female screw section (11). A plurality of slits (33, 33) that extend from a tip (31a) of the peripheral wall (31w) to a boundary between the base end (31b) of the peripheral wall (31w) and the lower main body section (32) are provided in the peripheral wall (31w) of the male screw section (31) of the lower cover (30).
