Abstract:
The present invention relates to: a wire rod for cold heading, which ensures cold forgeability and also has improved hydrogen-delayed fracture resistance by reducing the Si content thereof and containing Mo and V added thereto; a processed product using same; and manufacturing methods therefor. The wire rod for cold heading according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: 0.3 to 0.5% by weight of C; 0.1 to 0.3% by weight of Si; 0.5 to 1.0% by weight of Mn; at least two of 0.5 to 1.5% by weight of Cr, 0.5 to 1.5% by weight of Mo, and 0.01 to 0.2% by weight of V; and the balance Fe and other impurities, and has a value, obtained by formula (1) below, of 3.56 or more. Formula (1) [Cr] + 2.7*[Mo] +6*[V]
