Abstract:
Switching of retransmission control in response to kinds of traffics reduces overhead in periodical traffics and also reduces retransmission delays in non-periodical traffics. A wireless base station is provided with a traffic identifying unit for judging kinds of traffics for input data; a resource managing and allocating unit for allocating a wireless resource for a predetermined period with a predetermined pattern for input data when the input data are traffics suitable for a periodical allocation but, otherwise, for allocating sequentially an available wireless resource; and a retransmission control switching unit for applying synchronous type retransmission control to the traffics suitable for the periodical allocation but, otherwise, for applying asynchronous type retransmission control.
