Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of enhancing the convenience of a wireless communication device usable as a detachable semi-fixed station. A portable wireless device 600 has: a portable mode (first mode) for providing a user of a portable wireless device 600 with wireless communication using a private wireless module 601; and a semi-fixed mode (second mode) for providing an additional device 500 connected to an additional device interface 704 with wireless communication using the private wireless module 601 via short-range communication using short-range communication modules 603, 701. The portable wireless device 600 implements control to operate in the portable mode in the absence of detection of magnetism by a magnetism sensor 604, and in the semi-fixed mode in the presence of detection of magnetism by the magnetism sensor 604.
