Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a wireless communication method, and a first terminal device and a network device. The method is suitable for use in the field of communications. The method comprises: on the basis of position information of a first terminal device, determining whether the first terminal device satisfies a radio resource management (RRM) measurement relaxation criterion; and where the RRM measurement relaxation criterion is satisfied, starting relaxed RRM measurement. In the present application, by means of introducing position information of a first terminal device, and determining, on the basis of the position information of the first terminal device, whether the first terminal device satisfies an RRM measurement relaxation criterion, the measurement accuracy and the user experience can be improved on the basis of reducing the power consumption of a terminal.
