Abstract:

A transmission rate detecting section (211) detects the transmission rate of uplink data to be transmitted to a wireless base station, compares the detected transmission rate with a previously set transmission rate threshold value, and outputs the comparison results to a transmission power control step generating section (212). The transmission power control step generating section (212) changes a transmission power fluctuation range for controlling the transmission power, based on transmission power control information, which is transmitted from the wireless base station and separated by a separating section (202), and the comparison results outputted from the transmission rate detecting section (211).
