Abstract:
The wireless transmitter (11), which is configured to be placed on the outside of a living body and to be able to perform wireless transmission using magnetic binding to an in vivo observation device inside the living body, comprises: a magnetic field-generating section (12) furnished therein with multiple planar coils that are disposed so that the various coil surfaces are located on the same plane or the coil surfaces are disposed in a layered fashion so as to be parallel to each other; an electric power source section (15) configured so as to supply an electric current to be distributed to the multiple planar coils; a phase-switching section (17) configured so as to perform actions to supply electric current supplied from the electric power source section to the multiple planar coils while switching the phase thereof; and a control section (16) configured so as to perform control of the electric power source section and the phase-switching section to sequentially and repeatedly switch the state of the electric current flowing to the multiple planar coils every specified period.
