Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a work glove that can protect the fingers and hand of a worker and prevent a reduction in the worker's ability to perform work. [Solution] A glove 1 comprising finger sections that house the fingers of a hand, said glove 1 further comprising guards 10 that are provided to side surfaces of the finger sections 2f, wherein each guard 10 has flat protective plates 11–13 that are provided to a side surface of a finger section 2f at positions corresponding to finger joints, the protective plates 11–13 are connected to the side surface of the finger section 2f such that first edges 11a–13a are positioned on the palm side of the finger section 2f and second edges 11b–13b are positioned on the knuckle side of the finger section, and the protective plates 11-13 are formed such that the length from the first edges 11a–13a to the second edges 11b–13b is longer than the thickness of sites of a finger inserted into the finger section 2f at positions corresponding to the protective plates.
