Abstract:
Provided is a work machine capable of operating an operation target thereof in a mode intended by an operator. This work machine has: a travel body 11 (main body); a gripping mechanism 14 (work unit) that is displaceable with respect to the travel body 11 and performs a process operation on a vehicle OB (work target); an operation receiving unit 23a; a control unit 23 that controls the displacement or process operation of the gripping mechanism 14 according to the operation received by the operation receiving unit 23a and the operation amount of the operation; and a distance acquisition unit 23f for acquiring the distance to a region determined on the basis of the positions of the gripping mechanism 14 and the vehicle OB. The control unit 23 adjusts the displacement amount of the gripping mechanism 14 with respect to the operation amount according to the distance or the operation amount of the process operation.
