Abstract:

The present invention is a working machine in which: a forward/backward saddle 9 able to move in forward/backward directions is movably supported on both left and right sides thereof by left and right side walls 5L, 5R that are erected on a bed 3, and a forward/backward drive device 13 for moving the forward/backward saddle 9 in the forward/backward directions is provided to the left and right side walls 5L, 5R; a left/right saddle 25 able to move in left/right directions is provided to the forward/backward saddle 9, and a left/right drive device 45 for moving the left/right saddle 25 in the left/right directions is provided to the forward/backward saddle 9, on both the forward and backward sides of the left/right saddle 25; and an up/down slider 51 provided at a lower section with a processing head 62 having a processing tool 69 that is removable and replaceable is provided to the left/right saddle 25 so as to be able to move up and down, and an up/down drive device 57 for moving the up/down slider 51 up and down is provided to the left/right saddle 25 on both the left and right sides or both the forward and backward sides of the up/down slider 51. The working machine is provided with the left/right drive devices 13 arranged at different levels on both the forward and backward sides of the left/right saddle 25.
