Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a woven fabric which, though small and light with a basis weight of 200 g/m2 or less, has a good heat retaining property. The problem of the present invention can be solved by providing a woven fabric which includes 10-75% by mass of acrylic fibers having monofilament fineness of 0.5-1.7 dtex and which has a basis weight of 115-200 g/m2. The woven fabric according to the present invention preferably includes 25-90% by mass of cotton, has a thickness of 0.2-0.5 mm, and includes 5-25% by mass of cellulose-based chemical fibers. Furthermore, the woven fabric according to the present invention preferably uses 100% cotton yarn as warp yarn and yarn containing acrylic fibers as weft yarn, and the contained proportion of acrylic fibers in the warp yarn and the weft yarn is preferably 10-75% by mass.
