Abstract:
This X-ray generation tube comprises: an insulation tube having a first open end and a second open end; a cathode having an electron emission source and disposed so as to close the first open end of the insulation tube; an anode having a target that generates X-rays by a collision of electrons from the electron emission source therewith, and disposed so as to close the second open end of the insulation tube; and a tubular conductive member extending from the anode in an interior space of the insulation tube. The insulation tube includes a tubular rib at a position distant from the first open end and distant from the second open end. The tubular rib is disposed in a radiation direction as viewed from an end on the cathode side of the tubular conductive member.
